Miss Apricot with Guns by SparkletteMachina Miss Apricot with Guns by SparkletteMachina
Another picture of my character, Apricot.
She's a secret agent, hence the poorly drawn guns she's toting. Since I'm not quite an expert in drawing guns, I made something up. But alas, not only are the details too small to see, & are kind of smudged, the scan itself is just not the greatest. It was the best I could get sorry ^^;;

(There needs to be some scan editing/cleaning. I may need to re-install my photoshop 7, but right now I'm too lasy/toobusy with everything else to do so ^^;;) Don 't worry though, I bought a small encyclopedia of handguns to use as reference & to learn from. And I must buy more reference :)
Well actually this one was done a while back--Oct 2008 more specifically.

Now the wings--Ok Apricot is supposed to be undercover investigating an alien planet in disguise. So I usually picture Miss Apricot dressing herself as a fairy or butterfly girl..or something..to somehow blend in with the natives.
I showed it to someone who said it looked better without the wings. So I then erased it.
The thing is I tend to picture her costume with wings, so to satisfy myself without "throwing away/disregarding that compliment", I just highlighted the outline of the wings without fully drawing it in. It's going to stay this way.

Also, as for Miss Apricot herself, she's actually an offshoot of another one of my characters. I was walking home one day & just sort of came up with idea on a whim last year. :)

Anyway I hope you like it :). Comments & critique welcome.
(Heh. I've always been kinda..shy..about directly asking for comments. But I saw a suggestion somewhere, so I'm trying it out ^^;;;;;).

I like it! I wish my clothing-drawing skills were half as good as yours!
